ALL MEASUREMENTS IN INCHES (OR CENTIMENTERS)

 Step one:

Don't  Panic!

We need just THREE measurements

Step Two:

If you panicked anyway, get over it and find a friend to help. 

This ain't rocket science.  Even the Mad Seamstress figured it out!

Step Three:

Look at pictures.  

READ the directions.

Step Four:

If all else fails--call Mom!

Seriously, they KNOW this stuff.

GET A FRIEND TO HELP.  NAPE MEASUREMENT IS TAKEN FROM THE BACK.

A. Get one of these:

Tape measure   

        OR

   Carpenter's measure -- A foot long ruler won't work here!  It can throw off accuracy by several inches!

        OR

   Yardstick and a length of non-stretchy twine with a knot at one end.

B.  Stand in front of a big mirror.  

You can see what's going on and be certain that you're standing up straight.

 

 

C. Foorwear??

You MUST have on the footwear you will use with the robe OR THE ROBE WILL BE TOO SHORT!  

 If you plan to be barefoot, that's cool, go shoeless.

Once the belt is in place the hem will be short enough so you won't trip. We want our clients to be safe!

A. Nape to floor

  If you plan to be barefoot, that's okay, go shoeless!

Once robe is hemmed and you have a belt on, it will be the right length.

 

DO NOT ADD OR SUBTRACT FROM THE NUMBER YOU GET!

Our pattern is set up for a correct measurement.

If you add or subtract your robe hem could be too long or short.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

B & C Chest & Hips:

Measure AROUND body, not just across the front.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   Go slow!  You want your robe to fit; take the time to get it right.

 

EXAMPLE:
A. Nape to floor, boots on       60"           
B / C  Chest /Hips                      40 /38"     
 

Write it out to look like this in the white measurements box
on ordering page:  

A-60 B-40 C-45 + 555-222-1234  (We delete it, promise!)
